Itinerary

Prepare to join us in our Cooking Class Mexico. In the morning, you will meet your tour guide and head to the center of Puebla, a place known for its typical Mexican food and traditions. Our first stop will be a colorful market, where you will taste the most typical food of this place, such as semitas, chile atole, or agua fresca.

Next, we’ll visit the Museum of Popular Art, a former convent built in the 17th century. It exhibits handicrafts from the seven regions of Puebla, and the convent's kitchen was the birthplace of the famous mole poblano. Then, we will take an orientation walk around the historic center, discovering beautiful streets, architecture, traditions, and history.

After getting to know enough of this incredible state, we will arrive at a colorful place where you’ll join a cooking class led by a local chef. Visit the market with the chef to select fresh ingredients and then return to cook up a storm in a cozy restaurant kitchen.

DEPARTURE LOCATION AND TIME
The default departure times for this tour are 7:00 and 8:00 AM, but we can also adjust them per your request. Our guide will meet/pick you up at the requested time and might need to contact you by phone. Therefore, please kindly provide a valid phone number during your booking.
Complimentary pick-up/drop-off is included: please indicate the exact time and location for your pick-up during your booking (e.g. in the "Special Requirements" field). That is to say, we can pick you up from those parts of Mexico City: Polanco, Condesa, Roma, and Centro Historico. Other more remote locations might involve an extra fee.

TOUR DURATION AND CUSTOMIZATION
The standard duration of the tour counts from the moment of a meet-up till the end of the tour. On the other hand, the tour is customizable which means we can adjust the time you spend in each destination. For example, if you want to visit an extra location (attraction/restaurant/market, etc.), you can do it on a complimentary basis if this visit (1) fits the default duration of the tour and (2) doesn't involve a major change of the route.
