Itinerary 

In the morning, meet your guide and go ride a colorful boat in Xochimilco’s canals that were declared part of UNESCO World Heritage in 1987.

While on the boat, listen to traditional mariachi music and marimba bands, and enjoy the beautiful lacustrine landscape. Also, go for a walking tour in the historic center of Xochimilco that, like some other Mexico City’s neighborhoods, used to be a separate town.

Once there, visit its main attractions, taste pulque in a traditional pulqueria (a local pub), and stop at a local market for an optional lunch.

Additionally, stroll Xochimilco’s flower market, one of the biggest in the city and the core of the local economy. Then, in this botanical paradise, be able to see flowers and plants from almost all corners of Mexico.

Moreover, make a stop at the Anahuacalli Museum which houses an important collection of pre-Hispanic art owned by Mexican painter Diego Rivera since he died.

Finally, after a full day of discoveries, return to our vehicle and relax on the way back to your accommodation.

On the other hand, the tour is customizable which means we can adjust the time you spend in each destination. For example, if you want to visit an extra location (attraction/restaurant/market, etc.), you can do it on a complimentary basis if this visit (1) fits the default duration of the tour and (2) doesn't involve a change of the route.
