Itinerary

In the morning, meet your guide at the starting point and go to Xochimilco, an old neighborhood that was declared part of UNESCO World Heritage. Once there, enjoy a boat ride along its picturesque canals, while listening to traditional mariachi music and seeing the wonderful lacustrine landscape.

Then, move to visit the Anahuacalli Museum which houses an important collection of Pre-Hispanic art owned by Mexican painter Diego Rivera since he died.

On the way to Coyoacan, make a stop to visit the UNAM campus, the largest university in the country to see the unique murals that some renowned Mexican artists created.

 Moreover, head to Coyoacan to visit the Frida Kahlo Museum where the artist lived and created some of her artworks. Additionally, explore the area by visiting its old streets, churches, squares, and handicrafts market.

Finally, after a full day of discoveries, return to our vehicle and relax on the way back to the starting point.

  • Due to their limited availability, tickets to Frida Kahlo Museum (“Casa Azul”) need to be booked by us at least 1 week before the tour. If you book your tour with a shorter anticipation, please inquire about the availability before the booking. Suppose this is not done and we are not able to procure the tickets, a visit to Frida Kahlo Museum will be substituted with Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo without prior notice.
