Meet your guide and your group at the starting point and get ready for an unforgettable journey through Mexican history as we take you on a walking tour of the Castle of Chapultepec. Along the way, we’ll explore the castle’s magnificent halls and gardens, and meet some of its most famous residents, including noble people and even powerful presidents.

We’ll start by exploring the castle’s lush forested areas, where you’ll be enchanted by the natural beauty that surrounds this historic site. Then, we’ll climb up to the castle’s terrace to take in the breathtaking view of Mexico City from above.

As we make our way through the castle’s chambers, you’ll learn about the fascinating history of Mexico and its people. From the ancient Aztecs to the modern-day Republic, we’ll delve into the triumphs and struggles of Mexico’s past and discover how they have shaped the country we know today.

You’ll be amazed by the opulent apartments of Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg and Charlotte of Belgium, and learn about their legacy in Mexican society in the 1860s. Logistics

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
This tour needs manual confirmation from our side. Once you receive it (normally not later than 12 h after the booking if done during the week, and Monday afternoon if the booking was done during the weekend), your tour is confirmed: just show up in time at the meeting point and be able to present your booking (can be in electronic version on your phone) to your guide upon request.

DEPARTURE AND RETURN
Please arrive at least 10 min before the departure time: Tuesday and Saturday at 12:30 PM, at the ticket office of the Chapultepec Castle. Once there, meet your guide who will be holding a sign with the logo of the company. In case of necessity, our guide might need to contact you by phone, so please provide a valid contact number during your booking.

WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU
Comfortable clothes and shoes; hat/cap, sunglasses, and sunscreen; travel insurance, personal ID; good mood and curiosity.
