Itinerary

After we pick you up from your accommodation in the morning, we’ll head straight to the Tlalpan area, in Southern Mexico City to get to Cumbres del Ajusco National Park, avoiding traffic and maximizing our time on the trail. Our first stop will be Pico del Aguila, located at 3930 m above sea level, where we’ll begin our guided hike to the summit. The trail will take us through the stunning pine and oak forests of this important natural reserve, and we’ll be on the lookout for the park’s diverse flora and fauna along the way. Once we reach the summit, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views.

From there, we’ll continue to Cruz del Marques, the park’s second-highest summit. Along the way, we’ll stop for a well-deserved break and enjoy the snacks and box lunch we provided. Once we reach the summit, we’ll take a moment to soak in the stunning views of the huge Valley of Mexico before making our descent, and also take amazing pictures from above.

After our hike, we’ll head back to the park entrance, where you can enjoy an optional authentic Mexican lunch at a locally-owned restaurant before we return. Our experienced guide will be with you every step of the way, sharing interesting insights about the park’s history and culture, and ensuring your safety on the trail.

After a day of new experiences, return to our vehicle and relax on the way back to your accommodation.
