Also, visit the beautiful Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, and other sights of this ancient city.

Afterward, move to Xochimilco, in Southern Mexico City, and go for a boat ride in its picturesque canals, which were declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1987. On the way, listen to traditional mariachi music or marimba bands, and enjoy the beautiful lacustrine landscape.

Then, head to Coyoacan and make a stop to visit the UNAM campus, the largest university in the country to see the unique murals that some renowned Mexican artists created.

Once in Coyoacan, a beautiful colonial neighborhood famous for being Frida Kahlo's hometown, walk down its cobblestone streets and hear meaningful stories about this artist. Also, at her museum, learn some relevant fun facts about her childhood, family, and friends, as well as the dramatic accident that changed her life.
