Itinerary

Meet your guide and your group and start the tour by visiting the National Anthropology Museum, the largest and most visited museum in Mexico. It contains significant archaeological and anthropological artifacts from Mexico's pre-Columbian heritage, such as the Stone of the Sun (or the Aztec calendar stone) and the Aztec Xochipilli statue. The 12 halls on the bottom floor represent the history of pre-Hispanic Mexico, while the upper-level ones depict how Mexico's indigenous descendants live now, with current cultures right above their ancient civilizations.

Then, we will move to Chapultepec, the biggest urban park in Latin America that is famous for its same-named castle which functioned as an imperial and presidential residence until the 1940s. There will learn about the country's post-independence history and see murals and paintings depicting important historical events by famous Mexican painters. Additionally, we will take a stroll around the castle gardens and take in the panoramic views of the city.
