Itinerary

In the morning, meet your guide at your accommodation in Mexico City and head to Taxco. Situated in the mountains, this beautiful colonial town is famous for its long-standing mining and silversmith traditions, narrow picturesque streets, and architecture that have not changed in the last couple of centuries. One of the symbols of the town is a UNESCO-nominated 200-year-old baroque-style church, the Santa Prisca Cathedral.

After Taxco, move to Mil Cascadas. Also known as Las Granadas, it’s a series of beautiful waterfalls and pools on the Granados river. Mil Cascadas means “1000 waterfalls” and it’s not an exaggeration, as there are really a lot of them. Once there, get fully equipped and instructed before following your local guide for a 35 m rappel in the main waterfall. Afterward, continue your way through the Granados river jumping into 8 water pools with different heights, from 2 to 10 meters approximately. After the last jump, hike back for about 30 minutes.

After exploring these two wonderful places, return to our vehicle and relax on the way back to Mexico City.
