Itinerary

In the morning, meet your driver at your accommodation and head for a secluded nature reserve in La Ruta de Los Cenotes. Once there, follow a local birding expert to explore secluded spots and observe a wide variety of endemic and migratory bird species of the Yucatan Peninsula.

After the tour and an authentic Yucatecan breakfast, go to a nearby eco-park, hidden in the jungle away from common touristic routes. There, be able to swim in the crystal-clear waters of its two cenotes, hike, kayak, and taste a delicious local dish for lunch.

Following birdwatching and cenotes, continue the tour in a traditional Mayan spa. The treatment consists of a temazcal (traditional Mayan sweat lodge) ceremony, natural body treatment, and a centuries-old curing massage.

 Pleasantly tired, with a clean mind and body, return to our vehicle and relax on the way back to your accommodation.

Logistics

DEPARTURE LOCATION AND TIME
The default departure time for this tour is 4:00 AM in summer and 5:00 AM in winter, but we can slightly adjust it per your request. Our guide will pick you up from your accommodation at the requested time and might need to contact you by phone. Therefore, please kindly provide a valid phone number during your booking. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off from Riviera Maya (Cancun-Tulum zone) are included: please indicate time and location for a pick-up during your booking (e.g. in the "Special Requirements" field).

TOUR DURATION AND CUSTOMIZATION
The standard duration of the tour counts from the moment of pick-up till drop-off. At the same time, the tour is customizable which means we can adjust the time you spend in each destination. Also, if you want to visit an extra location (attraction/restaurant/market, etc.), you can do it on a complimentary basis if this visit (1) fits the default duration of the tour and (2) doesn't involve a major change of the route. Other changes such as extending the duration of the tour, changing the route and adding extra participants, should be communicated to the Company at least 48 hours before the tour and might involve an extra fee.

WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU
Comfortable clothes and shoes; hat/cap, sunglasses and sunscreen; mosquito repellent; swimming suit and towel; travel insurance and personal ID; good mood and curiosity.
