Itinerary

In the morning, meet your guide at your accommodation in Mexico City and head towards Morelia, and start the tour. On the way, observe an impressive change in natural landscapes, for instance, mountains, plains, national parks, and lakes such as Cuitzeo, the second largest in Mexico.

Once in Morelia, have a comprehensive walking tour of its UNESCO-listed historic center and visit all its main attractions. Morelia has a rich historical past since it was one of the first big cities founded in Central Mexico in the 16th century by the Spaniards.

Also, learn some stories about the Mexican War of Independence, whose main heroes lived there, such as Jose Maria Morelos, Miguel Hidalgo, and Agustin de Iturbide. Likewise, be able to meet the University of San Nicolas, the oldest in Latin America. On the other hand, see the famous Aqueduct of Morelia, one of the icons of the city and the only structure of its kind that preserves most of its original structure in Mexico.

Additionally, have a tour of Morelia’s cathedral, one of the highest in Latin America and considered by many to be the country’s most beautiful.

After a full day of experiences and adventures, return to our vehicle and relax on the way back to Mexico City.
