Itinerary
Get ready to visit the Mexico City Unesco Sites! Dive into the history and culture of Mexico City. We’ll start by exploring the Chapultepec Castle’s, where you’ll be enchanted by the natural beauty surrounding this historic site. Then, we’ll climb up to the castle’s terrace to take in the breathtaking view of Mexico City from above.
The tour continues to Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo; this architectural gem seamlessly merges modernist design with Mexican tradition, offering an intimate glimpse into the lives and workspaces of two of Mexico’s most iconic artists. Next, get to know the unique murals adorning UNAM‘s Central Library and uncover the stories behind these colorful artworks.
We will head to ride a peaceful trajinera boat ride through the UNESCO-listed canals of Xochimilco. As you glide along, enjoy the happy sounds of mariachi and marimba music while taking the beautiful lake views.
Finally, our journey will finish at the Historic Center, where centuries-old churches, monuments, and streets tell captivating tales of the past.

Logistics
DEPARTURE LOCATION AND TIMEThe default departure times for this tour are 8 and 9 AM, but we can also adjust them per your request. Our guide will meet/pick you up at the requested time & might need to contact you by phone. Therefore, please kindly provide a valid phone number during your booking.
Complimentary pick-up/drop-off is included: please indicate the exact time and location for your pick-up during your booking (e.g. in the "Special Requirements" field). That is to say, we can pick you up from those parts of Mexico City: Polanco, Condesa, Roma, and Centro Historico. Other more remote locations might involve an extra fee.
TOUR DURATION AND CUSTOMIZATION
The standard duration of the tour counts from the moment of a meetup till the end of the tour. On the other hand, the tour is customizable which means we can adjust the time you spend in each destination. For example, if you want to visit an extra location (attraction/restaurant/market, etc.), you can do it on a complimentary basis if this visit (1) fits the default duration of the tour and (2) doesn't involve a major change of the route.

- The type of vehicle used in the tour depends on the size of your group and may include a car, 7-seater, or minivan.
- This tour is private: only your group will participate.
- Travelers should have a basic physical fitness condition.
- Due to their limited availability, tickets to Frida Kahlo Museum (“Casa Azul”) need to be booked by us at least 1 week before the tour. If you book your tour with a shorter anticipation, please inquire about the availability before the booking. Suppose this is not done and we are not able to procure the tickets, a visit to Frida Kahlo Museum will be substituted with Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo without prior notice.
