Itinerary

In the morning, meet your guide at your accommodation and then head directly to the State of Morelos, located some miles away from southern Mexico City.

First, stop at Jardines de México, which is a national project guided by the environmental, social, and economic axes of sustainability. It is considered the “biggest contemplative garden in the world” and the first of its sort in Latin America.

This amazing botanical park has 51 hectares and 8 different impressive themed gardens: Japanese, Italian, Cactaceous, Las Cuatro Primaveras (“The Four Seasons”, where seasonal flowers are displayed), Tropical, Abanico de Flores, and the ConSentidos children’s garden, where among other things environmental education workshops are given.

Afterward, visit Tepoztlan, famous for its huge Tepozteco Mountain, which was and is still a sacred mountain for the local communities. Enjoy this charming Magical Town and walk down its cobbled streets full of colorful houses. Stop at its magnificent Ex-Convento de la Natividad, one of the most beautiful and well-preserved churches in Mexico built during the mid-16th century.

On the way, discover Tepoztlan and its vast and rich gastronomic heritage. Have an optional lunch at the local market, or just delight yourself by eating some of the greatest traditional ice cream flavors or drinking a refreshing mojito.

If you are lucky, have fun at its well-known carnival in February, and feel the joyful vibes of the local people through their traditional dances, food, costumes, and music.

After a full day of experiences, return to our vehicle and relax on the way back to Mexico City.
